5 Devil Fruits That Can Rival Imu’s Demon Form

5 Devil Fruits That Can Rival Imu’s Demon Form

This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf arc.

The Elbaf arc of One Piece is one of the most exciting parts of the story by far, and one of the biggest reasons for that is that it showcases One Piece’s strongest and most feared character, Saint Imu Nerona, in all-out action for the very first time. As fans know already, Saint Imu Nerona is the One Piece world’s secret sovereign.

Throughout the course of this arc, Imu has shown their incredible powers, which include a demonic form that can take down pretty much any enemy, granting immortality, and even making Demonic Contracts. While that demon form granted by their devil fruit is strong, there are some other devil fruits that can rival it, such as Luffy’s Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, or Blackbeard’s Yami Yami no Mi.

Gura Gura no Mi

A Devil Fruit That Can Destroy the World

Whitebeard using his Devil Fruit - One Piece

  • User: Blackbeard, Whitebeard (Formerly)
  • Type: Paramecia

The Gura Gura no Mi, also known as the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, is a Devil Fruit that can potentially destroy the world of One Piece. It is referred to as the strongest Paramecia, and for a good reason. This fruit, as the name implies, can cause multitudes of disasters such as massive earthquakes or huge tsunamis.

This devil fruit has the most destructive power of all, and in terms of large-scale destruction to the vicinity, even Imu’s demon form isn’t comparable. This Devil Fruit was previously used by the World’s Strongest Man, Edward Newgate, commonly known as Whitebeard. After his death, this fruit was stolen by Blackbeard. Blackbeard definitely has some big plans for this fruit and its powers.

Toshi Toshi no Mi

A Devil Fruit That Can Create Alternate Futures

  • User: Jewelry Bonney
  • Type: Paramecia

The Toshi Toshi no Mi is an often overlooked Devil Fruit in One Piece, but it most certainly has tremendous potential. The Toshi Toshi no Mi, previously thought to be an age-related fruit, turned out to actually be a fruit that affects the future. This Paramecia fruit allows Bonney to modify her or anyone else’s future based on what she imagines to be real. The likelier the existence, the easier the future is for her to access. This means the fruit can grant Bonney the power of other Devil Fruits without even eating them, and that’s truly scary to think about.

At just 12 years of age, Bonney has mastered this power, and she is already showing terrifying potential. Bonney was able to turn into Nika during the Egghead arc and basically copy Luffy’s powers. It wouldn’t be far-fetched to say Bonney could do the same to Imu and turn into her own demon form to rival them.

Yami Yami no Mi

A Devil Fruit That Can Cancel Others’ Abilities

  • User: Blackbeard
  • Type: Logia

The Yami Yami no Mi, or the darkness-darkness fruit, is quite an oddity when it comes to Devil Fruits. It’s a Logia Fruit but doesn’t allow one to turn into darkness. On top of that, its user instead takes twice as much damage as normal. In exchange, however, it allows one to access one of the craziest abilities seen in One Piece, and that is the power to cancel other Devil Fruit powers. With that, it makes sense why it would be known as the strongest Logia in One Piece.

The Yami Yami no Mi is currently in possession of Blackbeard, and he has yet to showcase its full potential. This Devil Fruit is very special and it is most certainly one of the keys to defeating Imu as it can easily cancel out their powers.

Loki’s Legendary Devil Fruit

An Unknown Devil Fruit That Is Bound To Be Overpowered

Loki, the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, has proven to be a pivotal character in the latest One Piece arc, and yet, there is still a lot that fans don’t know about him, including his Devil Fruit. Loki has claimed to have a legendary fruit and is even said to have Nika’s powers. Loki can’t be the real Nika, however, as that power is currently in the possession of Luffy.

This doesn’t mean that Loki doesn’t have a crazy Devil Fruit, however. Loki is not one to be underestimated, and his powers could possibly rival Imu’s once they’re revealed after the God Valley Flashback.
