Dell’s Alienware sub-brand has not usually been known for being subtle, not least in the lineup’s design language or the often maximalist feature set. As of recently, however, the company has begun refining its entry-level products in an attempt to make them more accessible, including a sub-S$500 QD-OLED display.
Looking at the brand’s laptop lineup, Dell has split it into three categories: “Core”, “Versatile” and “Flagship” . And leading the “Core” category is the new Alienware 15 laptop.
A different Alienware than we’re used to
If you were to compare it to the last time we reviewed a 15-inch Alienware laptop, 2019’s Alienware m15 R2, the design has certainly taken a dramatic turn into normalcy. Though, you will still find an iridescent Alienware logo up front. Some flashiness to remain true to the brand, we suppose.
Despite the revamped look, the iridescent logo is perhaps a callback to Alienware’s flair.

The CPU offerings for the laptop come in either AMD or Intel flavours – a Ryzen 5 220 / Ryzen 7 260 for the former, and an Intel Core 5 210H / Intel Core 7 240H for the latter. Graphics are all team green, however; choices are between an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050, RTX 5050 or an RTX 5060 as the top-tier option. The specs, it seems, are just ‘normal’ too.
