The issue of congested heavy vehicle lanes on the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex, allegedly due to mandatory scanning inspections, will be brought to the home ministry’s attention, says transport minister Loke Siew Fook.
Loke said matters related to the complex, including the operation of scanning machines, fall under the jurisdiction of the Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS), which is under the home ministry’s purview.
