Chantalle Ng‘s foster dog has found his forever home!
Two weeks ago, the Mediacorp actress revealed on Instagram that she had taken in a foster dog, Jeong, who was rescued from a dog meat breeding farm in South Korea. The dog had reportedly been close to being slaughtered.
Chantalle shared that the dog, who is about four or five years old, was brought back to Singapore by her friend, who works as a flight attendant and is up for adoption.
He was staying temporarily at the 30-year-old actress’ home, where she also has two Silkie chickens, Happy and Fluffy, a Singapore Special dog named Pretty, and a cat named Butter.
Back then, Chantalle shared that she had opened adoption applications via her DMs, and that she has received three adoption applicants, though she was not working with any animal welfare group or shelter.
“If the right home doesn’t come along… I might just keep him myself,” she wrote.
When 8days.sg reached out to Chantalle to ask about Jeong’s adoption progress today (Apr 30), she shares the good news that she was “bringing him over to his new home later [in the day]”.
