Sean Kee Braised Duck in Geylang is my go-to place for braised duck. Now when it comes to braised duck, there is the gooey Hokkien style and the runny Teochew style. Even though I pride myself as a Teochew Ah Hia, I must say that I actually prefer the gooey style braising sauce! Sean Kee’s sauce is rich, thick, and yes, a little on the sweet side. I know this is contentious because there will be some of you who find it too sweet. But I like it, and 47 years in business means they are definitely doing something right.
