Not really!! 🇵🇭🔥 📍 Momma’s Pizza & Rice Meal 121 Geylang East Central 01-90 Singapore 380121 Not gatekeeping this one… y’all deserve to know 🇵🇭🔥 Pulled up and ordered like I had something to prove: 🔥 Beef tapa 🔥 Pork sisig (this one? rice is compulsory) 🔥 Tori mentaiko don 🔥 Tori teriyaki don 🔥 Chicken katsu don First impression — pure comfort. It’s giving home-cooked Pinoy food, but with a Japanese-style twist that actually makes sense. The donburis? No complaints. Chicken katsu crispy and juicy, mentaiko creamy and rich, teriyaki sweet-savoury and easy to love. All solid. But let’s be real… 🥵 Pork sisig — not your usual cut, but once everything mixes together, it turns creamy, savoury, with crispy bits. This one got character. 🔥 Beef tapa — starts sweet, then you hit it with spicy vinegar… suddenly it’s loud, sharp, addictive. Different level. End up the “side characters” became the main event 😭 If you grew up with Filipino food, this one will hit different. If you didn’t — this is a good place to start.
