There are a couple of things to look out for if you are shopping for a desk speaker. It needs to be compact so that it doesn’t take up too much space on your desk. It also needs loads of connectivity so that you can hook it up to all your devices. And on paper, the Edifier M90 nails these two points.
Truly compact
According to the spec sheet, the M90 is just 133mm wide, 212mm tall, and 225mm deep. To give these numbers some context, it means the size of the M90 is somewhere in between that of the larger Audioengine A5+ and the compact A2+.
That’s fairly compact, especially when you consider it has a 4-inch aluminium driver and 1-inch silk dome tweeter. Despite its diminutive size, Edifier says it has a power output of 100W RMS.
