Fans of Taiwanese fare can consider heading to Typhoon Cafe, as the restaurant has just launched a $19.90++ all-you-can-eat buffet.
The buffet offers over 30 dishes, including several personal favourites of co-owner Andie Chen, who was closely involved in the R&D process of the menu.
The local celebrity’s recommendations are: Xiao Long Bao, Signature Braised Pork Rice, Signature Taiwanese Oyster Mee Sua, Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Chicken, Spicy Scallion Oil Mixed Noodles, Beef Noodle Soup, Taiwanese Fried Pork Intestines, Casserole Tofu and Three-cup Chicken.
Other menu highlights are Taiwanese Mushroom Hot Pot Noodle Soup and Spicy Hot Pot Noodle Soup.
Braised dishes are also available, featuring items such as Braised Kelp Knots, Braised Radish and Soft-Boiled Marbled Tea Egg.

For those who enjoy cold appetisers, there’s also the Spicy Pork Ear Slices in Red Oil and Lotus Root Slices with Sichuan Peppercorn.
To accompany the food, Typhoon Cafe has also introduced a new Signature Taiwanese Pot-Boiled Milk Tea, a fusion creation combining Taiwan’s traditional tea culture and bubble tea. Diners can order the milk tea in two flavours: Assam Reserve Milk Tea and Mountain Oolong Tea.
