On average around the world, organ transplants do not extend a recipient’s life beyond 25 years. But one centre in Singapore has defied the odds. The National University Centre for Organ Transplant – or NUCOT, has celebrated 35 patients who lived beyond that milestone. One of them is Madam Leong Kwai Sin – a kidney transplant recipient who survived 41 years after her procedure. She joined us to share her experiences.
