Motorcyclist dies after accident in Yishun; car driver arrested


SINGAPORE – A car driver was arrested after a fatal accident with a motorcyclist in Yishun in the wee hours of March 26.

The police said in response to queries from The Straits Times that they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a motorcycle at the junction of Yishun Avenue 7 and Sembawang Road at about 2.20am that day.

The motorcyclist and the driver, both male, were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in a conscious state, said the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force.
