One of the most popular places for Samgyetang right now is definitely @BOMUL! Located right in CHIJMES, they’ve had a constant queue going since their opening last November! Their menu boasts the largest range of Korean organic chicken soups in Singapore, and truly has a whole bunch of flavours that are delicious! But even before you get to the soups, their Minari Pancake ($22) is a must have! It’s a crispy pancake made with Korean water parsley giving a slightly herby freshness to a hearty dish! Oh and they even have Samgyejuk here, which is the porridge version of Samgyetang, with a Maesaengi Abalone ($29) flavour that combines the umami of seaweed with their yummy abalone! As for Samgyetang, we tried the Detox ($32) made with steamed Korean mung bean, this was a mild nutty soup that combined nicely with the young chicken and glutinous rice! And if you like heavy flavours like myself, the Rejuvenation ($36) is infused with aged black garlic, adding a deep umami to the broth! Flavour wise, I think they’re definitely worth the hype! My only wish is that their soups were thicker because that’s how I love my Samgyetang, but that might just be me 🙌🏻 📍 BOMUL Samgyetang, CHIJMES, 30 Victoria St, 01-11 #sgfoodie #samgyetang #koreanfood #wheretoeat #creatorsearchinsights
