ASUS’ latest router is also its most affordable ROG gaming router yet. It’s called the ROG Strix GS-BE7200 and, on paper, it looks like the perfect router for gamers staying alone or with small families.

The router features a stark white exterior. And if you discount the various ROG gaming motifs and the customisable ROG Aura RGB light, it is actually quite simple in design. With no visible protruding antennas, it’s essentially a small upright brick.

The router’s design is simple and should fit easily into most homes.

It’s a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router. It supports data transfer rates of up to 1,376MBps on its 2.4GHz band and 5,764Mbps on its 5GHz band. It has six internal antennas that ASUS claims offer up to 2,750 sq. ft. of coverage.

In terms of ports, it has a single 2.5G WAN port and four 2.5G LAN ports. It also has two dedicated gaming ports that automatically prioritise gaming traffic.

Like all other ROG gaming routers, the Strix GS-BE7200 has functions that help boost gaming speeds and reduce latency. Using the ASUS Router app, you can prioritise the traffic of your favourite games, enable open NAT in a few clicks, and also create an SSID specifically for your gaming devices.

Gaming features aside, the router also lets you create dedicated SSIDs for children to manage their internet access and screen time, and also dedicated SSIDs for IoT devices. The router also supports AiMesh, which means you can create a mesh network with other compatible ASUS routers.

Availability and pricing

The ASUS ROG Strix GS-BE7200 will be available at the end of March 2026 and will cost S$299.
