If Hollywood and celebrity culture are your thing, you’re probably excited for the 98th Academy Awards happening on 16 March, 7am. It’s not the greatest timing for Singaporeans, being a morning show at the start of the work week, but like in recent years, if you’re hellbent on watching it, you’ll need to keep your Disney+ subscription.
The media giant is once again premiering the Oscars on its streaming service, at least in Singapore. This arrangement has been ongoing for a while; American broadcaster ABC, and by extension its owner Disney, still have broadcasting rights for the awards show.
