Cross-border bus operators say they will start consolidating trips to and from Malaysia after Hari Raya. This could include optimising routes and reducing bus departure timings. These are ways to reduce cost without raising ticket prices, as fuel gets more and more expensive. One firm says diesel costs have risen by around 30 per cent since the start of the conflict in the Middle East. Drivers have also reported to management that some petrol stations in Malaysia have begun restricting them to just 20 litres of diesel, down from 150. Natalie Ong with more.
