there‘s a Korean steakhouse hidden inside Singapore’s National Gallery and almost nobody knows it exists. – 📍 Seoul & So, National Gallery Singapore – walked in for curiosity. walked out with a new regular spot. [Highlight] 📌 One of Singapore‘s oldest Korean restaurant groups just opened a brand new concept inside the National Gallery — making it the only Korean restaurant in the museum. The Korean Ambassador showed up for the opening. enough said. 📌 The grill sits center stage, open kitchen style, so you watch everything cook without taking the smell home with you. clean, modern interior — nothing like your usual BBQ joint. 📌 Two dishes stopped me. The doenjang jjigae made with Hanwoo — one of the richest soybean stews in Singapore right now. Then the naeng kalguksu, cold noodles in a slightly sweet perilla oil broth with knife-cut texture that makes every bite satisfying. 📌 For the grill: Jeju black pork, USDA prime, or Wagyu. respectable lineup. 📌 Dessert comes with ice cream or coffee and tea. we tried pork belly with ice cream. it should not work. it worked. – if you’re visiting the National Gallery and you skip this, that‘s on you. – #SeoulAndSo #NationalGallerySingapore #koreanfoodsingapore #sgfoodie #esyfilms
