There’s no denying that the social media industry has been booming in recent years and there’s been a surge in content creators in both Malaysia and Singapore.
But… who makes more money?
In a recent interview with popping_sg, Malaysian content creator Jestinna Kuan and her boyfriend, YouTuber Danny Lee, were directly asked to compare earnings in the creator scene across the two neighbouring countries.
While the 30-year-old influencer — one of the three well-known Malaysian Kuan siblings — didn’t give a straightforward answer, her response made the implication pretty clear.
“Oh… it’s why I often find jobs in Singapore,” she laughed.
