Word on the street is that Apple will announce a couple of new products later this week. And now, its marketing chief, Greg Joswiak, has dropped a teaser on X, hinting that “something powerful is coming”.
The teaser shows a glimpse of what is clearly a MacBook of some sort. What’s interesting is that it’s been pointed out that the MacBook in the teaser is arranged in the shape of a V, which is the Roman numeral for 5. Additionally, Joswiak’s caption, which reads “Mmmmmm… something powerful is coming”, consists of a Mmm that has five Ms.
It’s been rumoured for a while that Apple will unveil its new M5 chip sometime in October. Reports say the new chip will likely debut in updated versions of the 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro.
Readers hoping to see updated versions of the MacBook Air will likely have to wait until early next year. Higher-end versions of the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro with more power M5 Pro and M5 Max chips will likely also only be available next year.
