Razer is selling the Huntsman Signature Edition keyboard for S9

Razer is now selling the Huntsman Signature Edition for $699. More than just a spec bump over the original Huntsman models, the new keyboard is launched as a premium addition to the existing lineup.

At its core, the Huntsman Signature Edition uses Razer’s in-house Optical Analog Switches Gen-2 and 8,000Hz HyperPolling, as well as supporting the company’s Snap Tap control system.

But where the Signature Edition seeks to stand apart is in its choice of materials and manufacturing process. The chassis is CNC-milled from 6063 anodised aluminium, a finish usually found in high-end watches and automotive components, with select elements receiving hand-polished PVD treatments that give subtle reflective highlights. Textured doubleshot PBT keycaps, a mirror-polished metallic snake keycap and a layered internal acoustic structure are round up the ultra-premium feel.

Razer also claims the internal build quality and tuned acoustics aim to deliver a “composed typing experience”, with every switch individually lubricated and integrated sound-dampening materials that give users a deeper, more controlled sound profile” when under use.

Only 1337 (if you know, you know) units are made and each keyboard ships in a vegan leather signature box with additional swappable keycaps and includes a five-year warranty.
