Eligible S’porean households will receive S$1,200 for senior-friendly home upgrades. Minister for National Development Chee Hong Tat shared at a community event on Feb. 22 that seniors living in private residential properties will soon be eligible for the EASE programme. From Apr. 1, households with at least one S’porean senior aged 65 and above can receive up to S$1,200 in subsidies for installing senior-friendly fittings like grab bars and non-slip flooring. The rollout will start with those aged 80 and above, before expanding to younger seniors later this year. #mothershipnews #singapore #news
