YouTrip’s CNY 2026 e-angbao mini-game is a zodiac matchmaker with S$8,888 on the line

YouTrip has announced its CNY 2026 digital red packet campaign, which combines the Chinese zodiac, Valentine’s Day, and money into a single mini-game.

Like last year’s version, it’s still called Zodiac Match, with the same top prize of S$8,888 in YouTrip cash, but it has been updated to align with the Year of the Horse.

Valid until 3 March 2026, the e-angbaos in YouTrip’s Send feature will generate a Zodiac Match between the sender and the recipient of the red packets. Users share the resulting zodiacs on their Instagram accounts to generate one chance to win money from YouTrip’s pot.

There is no minimum amount and no limit on the number of attempts, as long as the sending occurs during the mini-game period.

Below are the instructions and all the other crucial details to ensure your success at finding your match (and getting rich for it).

How to play YouTrip’s Zodiac Match

To have a smooth mini-game experience, prepare the following:

• Having actual friends (with verified YouTrip accounts)
• Your YouTrip app
• Functioning pair of eyes (to look at zodiac animals)

Unlike your regular overseas spending, the YouTrip Send feature is found under: Transfer > Send to YouTrip user. This is the only place to trigger the mini-game, and the zodiac animals are distributed right after sending money.

At this stage, you will get to see whether the two zodiac animals match, and approximately how much you can win if you choose to share it on your Instagram profile. One successful share needs the following:

• Your Instagram profile is set to Public (so YouTrip can see your post)
• Tag the official YouTrip Singapore account (@YouTripSG) on your Zodiac Match post

Instagram Stories (those that disappear within 24 hours) and Instagram Posts (permanent posts in your Feed) both count as sharing. However, repeated shares of the same post are voided – only one would count, so make sure you get the ideal Zodiac Match first before you blast it out.

The win condition depends on your uploaded post and what kind of matches you get in it:

• Two different zodiac signs: S$8 (up to 18 winners)
• Two matching zodiac signs: S$888 (up to 7 winners)
• Zodiac Match of two golden horses: S$8,888 (only 1 winner)

Only when your Instagram upload is selected by the YouTrip team will the money be credited into your YouTrip account. According to its terms and conditions, those credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

While the event ends on 3 March, winners are announced by 17 March 2026 at the latest, and YouTrip credits are disbursed only by 31 March 2026.
