Caracas and Washington have reached a deal to export up to US$2 billion worth of Venezuelan oil to the U.S., said U.S. President Donald Trump on Jan. 6. In a Truth Social post on the same day, Trump wrote that Venezuela will be “turning over” between 30 and 50 million barrels of “high quality, sanctioned oil” to the U.S. Reuters reported that the deal would divert supplies from China, and help avoid further oil production cuts in Venezuela. #fyp #usa #venezuela #trump
