Shawn Loo Zhi Jian, a friend of the late former lawyer M. Ravi, was handed a new drug charge on Jan. 2, 2026, for purportedly taking methamphetamine. Loo was previously charged in court on Dec. 26, 2025, under the Misuse of Drugs Act for allegedly arranging a gathering where controlled drugs were consumed. He is out on S$20,000 bail, reported CNA.
