Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie visited the Egyptian side of the Rafah Crossing into Gaza on Jan. 2, as part of a humanitarian trip to Egypt. Jolie is a former special envoy to the United Nations Refugee Agency. During her visit, she spoke with the Egyptian Red Crescent aid workers and other local organisations to discuss ways to provide additional aid to Gaza, CNN reported. Jolie also visited injured Palestinians who were transferred to Egypt. Her visit came after Israel announced it would suspend the operations of several aid groups working in the Gaza Strip. #fyp #gaza #angelinajolie #egypt
