Gilmore & Damian D’Silva
There are quite a couple of dining changes to National Gallery this year and one of the new openings is Gilmore & Damian D’Silva, a premium casual restaurant by OUE Restaurants and Chef Damian, housed within the National Gallery Singapore, in the former Supreme Court wing. The menu at Gilmore & Damian D’Silva predominantly showcases dishes prepared from heirloom Eurasian recipes – some dating back more than 200 years, while the rest are Chinese dishes inspired by Granddad’s home-cooked dishes. Sushidan
There is always something new at Raffles City and the latest dining concept to open at the mall is Sushidan by Chef Hiroyuki Sato, chef-founder of Hakkoku and former head chef of the Michelin-starred Sushi Tokami from Japan. Chef Hiroyuki Sato brings his acclaimed Edomae sushi experience to Singapore at an accessible price, offering à la carte sushi from S$1.99, sashimi from S$2.99 and omakase from S$19.90. At this price point, this is quite a new price point for an omakase dining in Singapore if you want to experience what a traditional Edomae omakase is like. [Read more here for our full review
