Lego just added 12 new Marvel building sets to its sprawling collection of playsets and display models featuring some of the biggest superheroes and villains from the MCU. The new releases just hit stores January 1, and all 12 are available to order now at Amazon and the Lego Store. For experienced builders and collectors, the headliner is certainly the new 1,297-piece Iron Man Collector’s Edition display model. The Iron Man Mark 3 is the first Lego Marvel model labeled with Collector’s Edition in its name, and the $130 price tag is lower than we’d typically expect for a Marvel display model this size. My Best Buy Plus/Total members can save 10% on Iron Man Mark 3 and the other new Marvel Lego sets.
If you like Lego’s buildable mechs and articulated action figures, several other new Lego Marvel sets will probably be of interest. Guardians of the Galaxy fans can get an adorable new 604-piece Ravager Jumpsuit Groot figure for $60. A Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Miles Morales Mech is available for $15. This 135-piece set includes Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 minifigures. There’s also a 315-piece battle set featuring Spider-Man and Doc Ock Mechs for $30. The lineup also features a pair of Epic Battle dioramas and several smaller playsets, including a trio. of Spidey and His Amazing Friends playsets for preschoolers. For a larger playset, check out the new 781-piece Daily Bugle.

Lego’s latest Iron Man display model is seemingly ushering in a new era for Marvel building sets designed for adults. The Iron Man Mark 3 figure is the only Lego Marvel model with “Collector’s Edition” in its official name. Lego uses the Collector’s Edition moniker for select Harry Potter models, including the new Sorcerer’s Stone 25th Anniversary display model and Hogsmeade Village. Similarly, the Star Wars Lego line has highly detailed Ultimate Collector Series models like the new UCS Death Star.
The Mark 3 figure is arguably Lego’s best-looking Iron Man build yet; at the very least, it’s the most realistic depiction of Tony Stark’s iconic suit from the MCU. The Mark 3 holds an important place in MCU lore, as it was the primary armor worn by Robert Downey Jr. in 2008’s Iron Man, the first movie in the Avengers: Infinity Saga arc. That distinction makes it a fitting debut for the Lego Marvel Collector’s Edition series.

Iron Man also served as the debut superhero for a new series of Lego Marvel sets for adults in 2025. In June, Iron Man’s Mark IV Armor kicked off Lego’s series of Marvel busts. The 436-piece Iron Man MK4 Bust is on sale for $48 (was $60) at Amazon and Target. You can also save 20% on the Iron Spider-Man Bust that launched in August.
Lego launched over 150 new products this week, including eight Star Wars models and playsets. Star Wars fans should check out the new BB-8 Astromech Droid, AT-AT Walker, and Venator-Class Attack Cruiser, all of which are bound to be popular with collectors.
