Reports are flooding in that Fortnite is currently down. Fortnite players have taken to social media to share their complaints, with reports pouring in from all over.
The Christmas holiday is a great time for many gamers, as most get time off from school or work that they can dedicate to playing games. However, outages can be a serious problem during the holiday as well, with major outages impacting players, like Steam going down on Christmas Eve.

Fortnite is Down on Christmas Eve
Unfortunately, Christmas Eve has seen problems for gamers outside of Steam as well, as players are reporting that they can’t access Fortnite. According to Down Detector, it looks like the game started getting widespread reports of being down starting at about 5 PM PT, reaching 25,000 reports at one point.
This outage has been acknowledged by Epic Games as of about 6 PM PT, which says that the game is a “major outage” specifically for logging in. According to Epic, the issue also extends to Rocket League and Fall Guys. The developers are currently working on a fix, but there’s no indication as to when these games will be back up and running.
