Three people were arrested at a Bukit Panjang Housing and Development Board (HDB) estate on Dec. 16. According to Shin Min Daily News, more than 10 police cars were spotted at Block 534 Jelapang Road at around 9am on Tuesday. Photos provided by one of the readers showed three or four police cars along the service road, while another group of officers was seen searching a black Mitsubishi sedan at the foot of the block. When a Shin Min reporter arrived at the scene, three individuals were found handcuffed and sitting separately below the block of flats, awaiting questioning. At one point, one of them apparently became agitated and shouted at the officers present. One investigator was also observed taking photos inside the black sedan. According to Shin Min, a chopper, a sharp object resembling a Swiss Army knife, and a stack of licence plates were among items recovered at the scene. The chopper, which was reportedly wrapped in a pink cover, was placed onto a sheet on the ground for documentation. About six different licence plates were also laid out. The licence plates appeared brand new, with some still wrapped in plastic packaging. Mothership has reached out to the police for further details. Photo via Shin Min Daily News #tiktoksg #sgnews
