At least 10 people have died in the shooting, police at the scene confirmed, as reported by BBC. 2 gunmen, dressed in black, open fired at 6:30pm (4:30pm SGT). According to Sky News, the shooting happened at an event at the beach celebrating the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. At least 12 others and two police officers were injured during the incident. Authorities said there is no longer an active threat, Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.
