With both Star Wars Zero Company and Star Wars Eclipse out of the picture, per the rumor, that narrows down the announcement to a handful of titles that could do with some sort of announcement to get the hype train rolling. It was confirmed to be in development during Electronic Arts’ Investor Day presentation on September 17, 2024, and enough time has passed since Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that an early tease of the third entry wouldn’t be surprising. A short cinematic or a title reveal would be more than enough to at least announce a release window, especially since the series has become one of the most consistently successful Star Wars gaming projects in recent years.
It’s worth noting that there were 4 years between the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor, and if that holds up for the next entry, it won’t arrive until at least 2027, as the second installment launched in 2023. That being said, the first teaser for Jedi: Survivor was revealed almost a full year before the game’s release, so it’s possible the third and final installment could get a brief teaser with a potential late 2026 or early 2027 release window announcement at this year’s Game Awards.
