There’s no question that the adoption rate of EVs in Singapore is gathering pace. According to the latest data from the LTA, , accounting for about 6.3% of our island’s car population.
To accommodate the increase in the number of EVs on our roads, Great World will be launching its new EV charging hub soon. According to Allgreen Malls, which manages Great World, this will be Singapore’s largest public single-site EV charging hub.
The hub will be home to no fewer than 55 chargers. There will be a mix of AC and DC fast chargers, including 480kW ultra-fast DC chargers from Huawei. If an EV supports it, this ultra-fast charger can get from 20% to 80% in well under 30 minutes. This is the mix of chargers at the site.
- 20 x 480kW Huawei DC ultra-fast chargers
- 12 x 180kW DC fast chargers
- 23 x 22kW AC chargers
The hub will have 23 22kW AC chargers.
