A dog owner was left shocked and ‘covered in blood’ after her puppy’s nails were allegedly cut too short during a nail-trimming session at a Bukit Batok pet grooming salon.
Stomper Jo told Stomp she brought her pet to Royal Fur Pet Groomer on Nov 16 for a $20 nail trimming. She said her dog has black nails, and the staff told her they could not see the quick.
“When I picked up my puppy, the groomer and I were covered in blood,” she said. “That much blood, and they didn’t notice the injury and continued to cut the others? Terrible.”
She added that three staff members, including the boss, did not apologise to her when she asked why there was “so much blood”.
“The boss had both hands full of blood when carrying my pet to me,” she said.
