Disgusted diner sees restaurant worker washing fish near rubbish chute in Changi Village, SFA investigating


A diner was left disgusted after spotting a Tang Tea House worker washing fish in a bucket next to a rubbish chute in Changi Village.

Stomper Eida said the incident happened on Nov 9, after she had finished her late lunch at the Changi Village Road restaurant.

“I was so surprised and disgusted. I had ordered the same fish,” she told Stomp on Nov 18.

A video she shared shows a staff member crouched near the rubbish chute area, rinsing pieces of fish in a bucket.
