The beloved farming life simulation game Stardew Valley is officially teaming up with the hit social deception game Among Us for a limited-time collaboration that will introduce exclusive character skins, pets, and cosmetics to the world of Crewmates and Imposters. Stardew Valley has garnered a dedicated audience and spurred the modern popularity of cozy gaming, while Among Us kickstarted an ongoing trend of multiplayer titles that place deception and cunning at the forefront of gameplay. Despite their drastic differences, Stardew and Among Us have combined their “indie darling” powers to bring fans of both titles a unique crossover experience.
Developer Innersloth has teamed up with other hit games, with the likes of Halo, Celeste, Like a Dragon, and Genshin Impact crossing over with Among Us. Stardew Valley, on the other hand, has had very few collaborations with other games, though fans have enjoyed Stardew‘s team-up with fellow indie juggernaut Balatro. While both games have undoubtedly cemented a legacy for themselves on their own, it should come as no surprise that Stardew Valley and Among Us are finally joining forces for a limited-edition crossover.
Among Us Details New Update for 2025
Innersloth pulls back the curtain on a new update for Among Us that introduces some matchmaking changes made in response to player feedback.
Among Us shadow-dropped the unexpected collaboration with Stardew Valley on November 18, much to the surprise and delight of both social deception and cozy life-sim fans. The crossover features an Among Us Cosmicube, which is a cosmetics bundle that players can activate. Once activated, players are then able to unlock each of the items within the Cosmicube as they gain Beans, the currency received by playing rounds in Among Us. Players will simply need to set the Stardew Valley Cosmicube as “active” in their Inventory, complete rounds of the game, and unlock the included items via branching pathways. The Stardew Valley x Among Us Cosmicube will be available from November 18, 2025 to February 18, 2026, and will cost 3,300 Beans for the Cosmicube itself plus additional Beans for each branching item unlock.
Some of the cosmetics coming to Among Us with the crossover Cosmicube include outfits themed to the NPCs of Stardew Valley, such as
Abigail,
Lewis,
Linus,
Sebastian, and
Mr. Qi, plus pet versions of
Krobus and the forest spirit Junimos. The Stardew Valley Cosmicube features a total of 29 unlockable items, with fun nods to the farming sim, including a
Void Egg hat, a Dance of the Moonlight Jellies nameplate, and a Work Overalls skin.
A number of hit indie games on Steam and other platforms have unveiled surprising collaborations, and the team-up between Among Us and Stardew Valley is certainly one of the most prominent crossovers in recent memory. It remains unknown if Among Us will receive a reciprocating nod within Stardew Valley or if the limited-run Cosmicube will be a once-in-a-lifetime relic to commemorate the unexpected union.
