From now until November 30, GameStop shoppers can save some cash on various titles for Black Friday, including recent releases like Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Borderlands 4, and Mafia: The Old Country. However, the GameStop offerings are dominated by games available on PlayStation and Nintendo consoles, with only a few deals available to Xbox users.
Some of GameStop’s savings for the holiday shopping season also include Nintendo’s current Black Friday game offers. Switch titles like Princess Peach Showtime!, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom are now available for $40 at GameStop while supplies last, while other Switch titles like Splatoon 3 and Nintendo Switch Sports can be purchased for just $30. GameStop’s Nintendo offerings also extend to select Amiibo figures from Street Fighter 6 and The Legend of Zelda series during Black Friday, and a $20 discount on Samsung microSD Express Cards will be available at the end of November.
Walmart Is Selling Exclusive Switch 2 Bundles For Black Friday
Walmart shoppers looking for a Switch 2 this holiday season can now pick between some exclusive bundles during the retail giant’s Black Friday event.
GameStop Shoppers Can Save Serious Cash During Black Friday
While PlayStation is also offering discounts on PS5 consoles and games for Black Friday, GameStop shoppers can also take advantage of some bargains for the rest of November. A PS5 digital edition console bundle with NBA 2K26 can be purchased for $449.99, which can customers $120 if both the console and game were bought separately at their normal values. The DualSense Edge controller also received a $30 discount to $169.99, and the PlayStation VR2 headset is marked down to $299.99, a $100 discount off its MSRP. Some PS5 first-party titles have also been marked down to $30, including Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, Helldivers 2, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. DualSense controllers can also be bought as low as $54.99 during Black Friday, and the Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 console bundles will also be available while supplies last.
However, Xbox users will not have too many Black Friday offers at GameStop this Black Friday. While third-party titles like Borderlands 4, Madden NFL 26, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will also be available at a discount on Xbox consoles, Xbox has no exclusive savings on consoles or accessories that users can take advantage of. With other shops like Costco pulling Xbox consoles from store shelves, it remains to be seen if GameStop or other retailers will follow suit.
Following Black Friday, GameStop users will have another opportunity to save money via an unconventional trade-in event on December 6. All in all, gamers looking to save some money during Black Friday should check their local GameStop stores for any bargains.
