According to the New Straits Times, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) confirmed that parts of Terminal 1 experienced water leakage on Nov. 14 after a heavy thunderstorm. KLIA said its engineering, operations, and security teams were activated right away to deal with the situation. The airport added that its staff are “on high alert”, focussing on passenger safety, containing the leak, and protecting electrical systems.
