One of two suspects in Chin Swee murder taken to site under police escort


SINGAPORE – A suspect in the murder of a 56-year-old man in Chin Swee Road on Nov 8 was taken to the crime scene on the morning of Nov 12.

Poh Choon Kiat – one of

two suspects charged

with the murder of Mr Jaganthan Arunasalam – arrived at the site at about 9.30am escorted by police officers.

Poh, 59, and Tan Boon Hui, 58, were alleged to

have killed Mr Jaganthan

, who died in hospital, after a fight on the 17th floor of Block 51 Chin Swee Road.

Tan was not taken to the crime scene as he is hospitalised.

At the location, investigating officers questioned Poh, who was wearing hand and leg restraints and taken to a unit on the 19th floor and a corridor on the 17th floor. Both floors were cordoned off and guarded by the police.
