Plans for a new market on the seafront at Withernsea have been approved by East Riding Council.<\/p>\n
The planning application proposed 10 light blue “micro-kiosks” in a horseshoe shape in Valley Gardens.<\/p>\n
The plans stated: “The Coastal Market is designed to provide a focal venue for tourism through markets, events and festivals, generating new footfall and providing marketable opportunities to drive visitors into the town.”<\/p>\n
The market is a part of the Withernsea Seafront Regeneration Scheme.<\/p>\n
The scheme, which is a partnership between Withernsea Town Council and East Riding Council, seeks to support the redevelopment and enhancement of key seafront locations.<\/p>\n
