**Geylang Landlord Finds Rubbers After Tenant Turns Flat Into Chicken Den**

A Geylang landlord was left shocked after neighbours complained about suspicious activities at his rented apartment along Guillemard Road.

Residents reportedly noticed a woman regularly bringing middle-aged men into the unit, one at a time.

When questioned, the Singapore PR tenant in his 30s claimed the men were his colleagues attending meetings, while the woman was a part-time cleaner.

However, neighbours eventually managed to film the woman bringing a man upstairs.

The landlord informed the tenant that he would inspect the unit on October 2. But when the inspection day arrived, the tenant had mysteriously disappeared.

Police were called, and a report was subsequently lodged.

Inside the empty apartment, the landlord reportedly found “evidence” scattered around. Two mattresses were also covered in stains and had to be replaced.

The tenant’s one-year lease was terminated, and his rental deposit would be forfeited.

The property agent also reminded landlords to watch out for suspicious rental behaviour, including prospective tenants who rush to secure a unit without asking questions or insist on paying rent and deposits in cash.
