US intelligence agencies reportedly suspect Alice Huang, a Chinese executive at Singapore-based data centre firm Megaspeed, of developing a close relationship with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to obtain sensitive information for Beijing.

The pair have reportedly been spotted together several times over the past two years, including at social gatherings and business dinners in Taipei.

Megaspeed is also accused of potentially diverting advanced Nvidia AI chips to China. A related company reportedly purchased US$4.8 billion (S$6.13 billion) worth of AI equipment between 2024 and 2026.

Singapore authorities reportedly questioned Alice Huang in 2025.

However, Nvidia has denied the allegations, saying it found no evidence that Megaspeed was diverting its chips to China. Beijing has also dismissed the espionage claims as baseless.
