{"id":96560,"date":"2026-10-30T17:48:08","date_gmt":"2026-10-30T09:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=96560"},"modified":"2026-10-30T17:48:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-30T09:48:08","slug":"sia-extends-cancellation-of-dubai-flights-to-feb-28","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=96560","title":{"rendered":"SIA extends cancellation of Dubai flights to Feb 28"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>SINGAPORE: Singapore Airlines (SIA) on Friday (Oct 30) extended the cancellation of its flights to and from Dubai until Feb 28, 2027, citing the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>The Singapore carrier had previously cancelled the affected flights until Dec 1.<\/p>\n<p>In a Facebook post, SIA said the cancellations would remain in place for nearly three more months, until the end of February.<\/p>\n<p>The affected flights are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SQ494 departing Singapore for Dubai<\/li>\n<li>SQ495 departing Dubai for Singapore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cAs the situation remains fluid, other SIA flights may be affected,\u201d said the airline, adding that customers could visit its flight status page for the latest information.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCustomers affected by the flight cancellations can seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket,\u201d said SIA.<\/p>\n<p>Those who booked directly through the airline can use its online assistance request form to seek a refund.<\/p>\n<p>Customers who booked through travel agents or partner airlines are advised to contact their travel agent or purchasing airline directly for assistance, said SIA.<\/p>\n<p>It also encouraged customers to update their contact details via the &#8220;Manage Booking&#8221;
