It is a notable omission, especially given its starting price of S$3,099.

Another possible addition is the Action Button. The current iPhone Duo features a Camera Control button for quicker access to camera functions, while an Action Button could provide a customisable shortcut to selected features and apps.

For now, Face ID and the Action Button are potential upgrades Apple is testing, not confirmed features of the next foldable iPhone.

Meanwhile, the first-generation iPhone Duo remains sold out at many retail stores across Singapore. Apple has described the pre-order demand as “extraordinary”, and the company has reportedly increased orders to meet stronger-than-expected interest.

Source: Bloomberg via 9to5Mac

Apple’s first foldable iPhone has only just gone on sale, but the company is reportedly already testing prototypes of its successor.
