{"id":95601,"date":"2026-10-26T05:13:19","date_gmt":"2026-10-25T21:13:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=95601"},"modified":"2026-10-26T05:13:19","modified_gmt":"2026-10-25T21:13:19","slug":"thundery-showers-with-gusty-winds-over-3-singapore-regions-on-sunday-evening-singapore-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=95601","title":{"rendered":"Thundery showers with gusty winds over 3 Singapore regions on Sunday evening, Singapore News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Heavy rain is expected over southern, eastern, and central Singapore on Sunday (Oct 25) evening.<\/p>\n<p>In a weather warning issued at 5.42pm, the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said that moderate to heavy thundery showers with gusty winds are expected between 6.10pm and 7.10pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This was later extended till 8pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Checks of the service\u2019s weather radar at 6pm showed moderate to heavy rain clouds over the southern region. Rain clouds were also observed to the south-west of Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, national water agency, PUB has issued flood risk alert(s) for the following area(s):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"ea148068868728df3e4157a04b4d09be6\">Jalan Boon Lay (from International Road to Enterprise Road), till 7.37pm<\/li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e1425de3dc8d88e15bdc99cb9cdc8f417\">Junction of Boon Lay Way and Corporation Road, till 7.48pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiaone.com\/singapore\/singapore-haze-situation-25-october\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">daily haze situation update on Saturday evening<\/a>, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said showers are forecast over Singapore and the region on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>This, along with winds forecast to turn to blow from the southeast or west, means the transport of smoke haze to Singapore could be limited, the agency added.<\/p>\n<p>On the haze situation for Monday and Tuesday, NEA said: &#8220;The haze situation is likely to improve.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This, it explained, is due to the forecast of showers and prevailing winds.<\/p>\n<p>At 6pm, hourly PM2.5 is in the normal band islandwide.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>[[nid:748843]]<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiaone.com\/singapore\/mailto:editor@asiaone.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">editor@asiaone.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<center><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiaone.com\/singapore\/weather-singapore-thundery-showers-25-october\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read Full Article At Source <\/a><br \/>\n<center\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heavy rain is expected over southern, eastern, and central Singapore on Sunday (Oct 25) evening.
