Update on Hotspot and Haze Situation<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Some showers fell over parts of Singapore today. Showers also occurred in the surrounding areas. As at 7pm, the 1-hr PM2.5 concentration readings were 25 \u2013 46 \u00b5g\/m<\/span>3<\/sup>, in (Band 1, Normal), and the 24-hr PSI was 91 \u2013 107, in the Moderate to Unhealthy range. Smoke haze was also observed over Kalimantan but it did not drift towards Singapore<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>For tomorrow, showers are expected over Singapore and the vicinity. With winds expected to blow from the southwest or west, the likelihood of smoke haze affecting Singapore may be reduced<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>For Tuesday and Wednesday, the winds are expected to continue blowing from the southwest or west. Showers are expected over Singapore and the vicinity, which should further help the haze situation<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
