Solo Self-Found is officially coming to Diablo 4<\/strong><\/em>, giving players the chance to show off their mastery of the game in a whole new challenge mode. Though it won\u2019t be arriving as a part of Season 11, Diablo 4<\/em> fans can look forward to this solo setting soon.<\/p>\n

Diablo 4<\/em> is currently developing Season 11, which is expected to arrive on December 9. This update will be adding tons of new features to the game, including Divine Gifts, battles against the Lesser Evils in Diablo 4<\/em>, and the Tower, a scaling endgame activity featuring a leaderboard.<\/p>\n

\n Solo Self-Found is Coming to Diablo 4
\n <\/h2>\n

Diablo 4<\/em> is already starting to reveal some of its plans for after the new season. During an interview with Diablo 4<\/em> content creator Raxxanterax, lead live systems and combat designer Colin Finer and associate game director Zaven Haroutunian confirmed the game will be getting a Solo Self-Found mode. While there is no timetable for this beyond that it won\u2019t be in Season 11, players can expect to see Diablo 4<\/em>‘s take on Solo Self-Found at some point in the future. The interview starts around the 6:39:25 mark of the lifestream VoD, with the Solo Self-Found question coming up around 7:27:00, though fans should be aware that Raxxanterax uses some profanity during his excited reaction to the news.<\/p>\n

For those unfamiliar, Solo Self-Found is a format in many multiplayer games, including Diablo 3<\/em>, that makes one unable to benefit from outside help. This often means no trading, shortcuts, or support of any kind from other players or alt characters. While Diablo 4<\/em> has some co-op features that require them to interact with others, fans can expect its version of Solo Self-Found to share some of these major aspects, though the specifics might differ.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest reasons for this new mode is to combat RMT, or real money trading. Like many online games, Diablo 4<\/em> has a big problem with boosts, third-party gold and gear sellers, and other RMT operations that threaten the integrity of player achievement. The devs seem to hope adding a Solo Self-Found mode using the new Tower leaderboard system in Diablo 4<\/em> will let the skills of their determined community shine over those who purchase power instead.<\/p>\n

Beyond this and its seasonal content, Diablo 4<\/em> is gearing up to announce next year\u2019s expansion soon, with some suspecting a reveal could take place at The Game Awards in December. With Solo Self-Found coming to Diablo 4<\/em> soon too, it seems like 2026 is going to be a big year for the ARPG.<\/p>\n
