Thinking of replacing your family car, making the switch to an electric vehicle (EV), or simply finding out whether a hybrid makes more sense for your daily commute? The Car Expo 2026 is a good place to start.<\/p>\n
Singapore\u2019s largest automotive exhibition returns to Singapore EXPO Halls 5 and 6 on 24 and 25 October for its second and final edition of the year. Admission is free, and visitors will have two days to explore the latest cars, compare models, speak directly with dealers and take advantage of exclusive promotions.<\/p>\n
The event has grown considerably since its earlier editions. The first show in May attracted approximately 66,000 visitors over two days, and this October\u2019s edition promises an even bigger showcase, with more than 50 participating automotive brands and exhibitors.<\/p>\n
From affordable electric runabouts and family-friendly SUVs to premium sedans and spacious MPVs, there should be something for different budgets and driving needs. Visitors will also find pre-owned cars, motoring accessories and services under one roof.<\/p>\n

Of course, looking at new cars is only part of the attraction. The Car Expo 2026 is also offering visitors several opportunities to walk away with gifts, fuel vouchers and cash prizes, even if they are not ready to buy a car.<\/p>\n
Some of the event-wide promotions include:<\/p>\n

Free camera giveaway: The first 1,000 visitors each day will receive an exclusive The Car Expo disposable film camera to commemorate their visit.<\/li>\n
Games and challenges: Visitors who head to the SPH Media game booths will have opportunities to win cash vouchers and other prizes. The Pit Stop Challenge also offers S$50 cash vouchers to the first 20 participants each day who successfully stop the timer at exactly 10.005 seconds.<\/li>\n
Accessories promotion: The first 30 daily shoppers to spend $80 on car accessories at the show floor in a single receipt will receive a S$10 SPC voucher.<\/li>\n
Car booking rewards: Buyers who book a new or pre-owned car at the exhibition will receive up to S$1,000 worth of SPC cash vouchers, while stocks last.<\/li>\n
S$5,000 Grand Draw: Visitors who purchase a car and complete the Buyer Survey will qualify for a chance to win S$5,000 in cash. One winner will be drawn each day at 7pm at the SPH Media Organiser Booth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
In total, visitors will also have opportunities to win a share of up to S$18,000 in prizes through the event\u2019s games and activities.<\/p>\n

For serious buyers, the biggest savings might come from the individual dealers.<\/p>\n
Several participating brands are offering event-exclusive packages, including promotional vehicle prices, financing deals, trade-in incentives and additional ownership benefits.<\/p>\n
BYD, for example, is promoting a range of incentives, including the chance to win discounts worth up to S$120,000<\/b>, a sure-win prize pool exceeding S$120,000<\/b>, and ownership benefits worth up to S$11,000<\/b>. Selected promotional packages also include a Happie Eater filtration system valued at S$888<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The availability of individual offers will depend on the vehicle model, participating dealer and applicable terms and conditions. But with multiple dealers competing for buyers over the same weekend, the exhibition is also an opportunity to compare quotes and negotiate a better overall package.<\/p>\n
However, prospective buyers should look beyond the advertised vehicle price. Financing interest rates, insurance, servicing packages, warranties, trade-in values and COE arrangements will all affect the final cost of ownership.<\/p>\n
This is especially true as Singapore recently proposed changes to the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) system. This aims to address the growing difficulty of distinguishing between mass-market and luxury cars, particularly with the rise of electric vehicles (EVs). The goal is to create a fairer distinction between affordable and premium vehicles, though LTA has stressed that the review is not meant to lower overall COE prices, which will continue to depend on market demand and available supply.<\/p>\n
