Alongside 95 world premieres, the programme featured the Asian premieres of several prestigious award winners from <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">Cannes<\/span> and <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">Venice<\/span>, including Cristian Mungiu\u2019s Palme d\u2019Or winner <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\"><em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">Fjord<\/em><\/span> and May el-Toukhy\u2019s Golden Lion recipient <em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">Woman Unknown<\/em>.<\/div>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">Other highlights included Martin McDonagh\u2019s <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\"><em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">Wild Horse Nine<\/em><\/span>, starring John Malkovich as a jaded CIA agent, a role many are tipping for Oscar glory.
