Those who take the public bus would know how awkward it can be to squeeze your way past someone sitting in the aisle seat when you want to alight.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In fact, this is something that has bugged Taiwanese star Una Lu so much that she posted an Instagram Reel to lament about it.<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old, who frequently takes public buses in Taipei, shared that she often encounters the same problem whenever she sits in an inner seat next to the window, and is getting ready to alight.<\/p>\n
While passengers sitting in the aisle seats usually move their legs slightly to make room, the space between the seats is limited, leaving Una struggling to squeeze her way out.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou only left such a small corner for me, it\u2019s still really difficult for me to get out!\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
Una also expressed concern about accidentally bumping into other passengers, especially when carrying a backpack or holding items in her hands.<\/p>\n
“The bus is moving and I have a bunch of things in my hand. That’s right, I almost fell to my death. The things might hit or fall on you too,” she wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cCould you please stand up and let me pass?\u00a0It only takes three seconds, and it would make things easier for everyone! Please!”<\/p>\n
The star, however, clarified that she was not demanding that everyone stand up to let others pass.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf they can’t stand up because of their age or physical condition, or because they’re worried about the bus swaying, that’s totally understandable,\u201d she explained. \u201cI’m just hoping that, when circumstances allow, we can help each other out.\u201d<\/p>\n
Unsurprisingly, Una’s post struck a chord with fellow bus commuters, with many agreeing that the situation was all too familiar.<\/p>\n
