Dating can be very difficult, and very daunting for people. When we do meet someone, it can often feel like the same surface level conversations over and over. So, try these questions to go beyond the small talk. \u00a0 With these 3 questions, don\u2019t just pay attention to the answer itself, but how they answer it. Do they find the question interesting? Do they provide a level of detail that shows they want to engage with you? Or do they just default to a quick answer or a \u201cOh I don\u2019t really know\u201d. \u00a0 If you are dating for a long-term partner, we aren\u2019t just looking for a spark or a fun first conversation, we are trying to assess for real compatibility in our lives, hobbies, and personalities. Despite the popular saying, opposites actually don\u2019t attract when it comes to dating, so we need to find people that have similar morals, values, and shared interests. \u00a0 Because I really believe these things to be true, I partnered with a new dating app called Slove. They are trying to slow down the process of online dating to make it more intentional and based on characteristics that actually matter when you\u2019re dating. \u00a0 So many people say that most dating apps feel like window shopping, and everyone is just out for the next best thing as soon as it appears.
