SINGAPORE \u2013 A woman is said to have had a vape pod containing etomidate while she was at an Excelsior Shopping Centre nightspot on two separate occasions.<\/p>\n
On Nov 6, Tan Xin Yi, 20, was charged with two counts of being in possession of the substance.<\/p>\n
Court documents stated that the Singaporean also allegedly had an etomidate-laced vape pod while she was at Club Poseidon shortly before 1am on Aug 16.<\/p>\n
She is accused of committing a similar offence at the Coleman Street nightspot on Sept 28.<\/p>\n
Tan\u2019s pre-trial conference will take place on Dec 3.<\/p>\n
When vaped, etomidate enters the lungs directly and may trigger spasms, breathing difficulties, seizures, and even psychosis.<\/p>\n
