Properly fitted N95 masks do substantially reduce inhalation of fine particles. They may be hot and uncomfortable, but workers should use them during periods of elevated particulate pollution when outdoor work cannot be avoided.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Platform operators, construction companies and other employers can help distribute masks and encourage their use.
